If you are in Year 7 in school, ie first year of secondary school, this is the age group for you.
You will learn the skills of rugby, make new friends, learn our game's values (respect, fun, discipline etc) whilst having a lot of muddy fun.
The Under 12s meet up each week to train either at Ashbrooke or Hill View to improve their core skills and enjoy themselves.
Throughout the season, we play teams from Durham, Northumberland, as far afield as Cumbria. Our aim in these games is to play fairly, play well and to represent our club, our teammates and ourselves as best as we can. As well as this we take part in several tournaments/festivals each year.
All of our players take a full and active part in fixtures and all of our players get 'even' game time.
We would love you to come down to Ashbrooke and give our game a try. The only thing you need is a pair of football or rugby boots with studs in safe condition.
To play for Sunderland Under 12s in a fixture, you must be registered, have paid your subs, have boots and a mouthguard.
